Each month we will post a batch of fifteen words in the table below. Your task is to compose a poem containing at least ten of these words and written about the current month's given topic.

Topic for January 2014: Waterfall

Special	Alive	Grunt
Cool	Treasure	Worry
Instinct	Swing	Ready
Blossom	Deny	Heat
Full	Dirt	Chance

To participate in this activity, post your poetic response as a reply to this thread. You may if you wish also post your poem in one of the Member Poetry boards.

If there are more than three participants for the month, a profile award will be given to the strongest entry as determined by the Admin team. If there are less than three participants, no award will be given that month.

Nature's Spewing Smile

(Topic: Waterfall)

Chance to that place where worry dies
Emotions dug full from the dirt
To bathe beneath a sky alive
As love blossoms from lonely hurt.

A special place, in shade most cool
to treasure on a stirring breeze
Evading heat by swirling pool
to swing and leap through leafy trees.

Deny not that you long to gaze
upon the splash of Nature’s smile
Thine heart be ready for the days
Now full of Peace, to stay awhile.

For instinct drives us to the Mounts,
to Lakes and Waterfalls and Streams
for lovely moments, all to count,
when pleasant grunts pull us from Dreams.
